Spiritual Companion
Spiritual Companionship offers a structured space for exploring spiritual beliefs, engaging in contemplative practices, and discerning the presence of the Sacred in everyday life. My goal is to offer a supportive presence in times of spiritual crisis or when seeking guidance. I intend to meet you, right where you already are, as you engage your spiritual journey. This means that I avoid offering advice or trying to provide answers.
I confirm that I have trained as a spiritual companion and will practice in accordance with “Guidelines for Ethical Conduct”, which can be found online at www.sdiworld.org.
While I believe that it is appropriate to discuss psychological and relational difficulties in the context of spiritual companionship, it is not a replacement for psychological counseling provided by licensed behavioral health providers. Both forms of support work in conjunction to address the holistic well-being of the client. Similarly, while our relationship may be friendly, it is not intended as a source of social friendship.
